Yahoo Webmail (Free) 
Your Name: type in your name as you want it to appear in your messages 
Email Address: your full Email address, i.e. <jsmith@yahoo.com> 
Account Type: IMAP 
Incoming Mail Server: <imap.mail.yahoo.com> 
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): <smtp.mail.yahoo.com> 
Username: same as your full email address, i.e. <jsmith@yahoo.com> 
Password: your Yahoo account password 
Check the “Remember Password” box to retain your password 
Uncheck the box next to “Require Logon Using Secure Password Authentication…” 
Click on “More Settings” 
Click on the “Outgoing Server” tab 
Check the box next to “My Outgoing Server (SMTP) requires Authentication” 
Select “Use Same Settings As My Incoming Mail Server” 
Click on the “Advanced” tab 
Incoming Server (IMAP): <993> 
Use The Following Type Of Encrypted Connection: <SSL> 
If you have AT&T DSL or your ISP does not block port 25 
Outgoing Server (SMTP): <25> 
Use The Following Type Of Encrypted Connection: <None> 
If you have a different ISP that does block port 25 
Outgoing Server (SMTP): <465> 
Use The Following Type Of Encrypted Connection: <SSL> 


Yahoo Plus Webmail (Not Free)

Incoming Mail Server: <plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com> 
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): <plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com> 
Username: your email alias (Email address without the @yahoo.com), i.e. <jsmith> 
Password: your Yahoo account password 
Check the “Remember Password” box to retain your password 
Uncheck the box next to “Require Logon Using Secure Password Authentication…”
